My work in the fields of biology and environmental operations has brought me all over coastal British Columbia, as well as both the north and south Polar Regions and many places in between. In my spare time I am a writer, hobby photographer, lover of killer whales and advocate for bringing science to the public. I would love to collaborate with you.
Shifting global climates and human-produced pollutants are changing our oceans for the worse, often with latent long-term effects that we are not yet able to see. My strongest scientific interest lies in the effects of anthropogenic substances on ecosystems and animal systems.
Small changes we introduce into our everyday lives will make us part of the solution. Come build a better world. We are all connected to the ocean.

My primary goal in photography is to connect people with the essence of the subject animal. Those interested in prints, please contact me directly so that we can create a custom size and shipping method that best suits your needs.
